A few minutes ago my husband received the "Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident" e-mail. After a few minutes of happiness, we realized the LIN # was different from the one on our receipt!!!!

Have you ever heard of this?

Did you check your receipt number in the case status page?

We could finally talk to an officer. He confirmed it was a mistake, the approval was not ours. We should keep waiting.
