had LUD on 9/7...
totally unexpected as I was afraid of lengthy namecheck processing (I am from a Muslim country)... Also I wasn't sure if they will approve recent cases as I was seeing older PD approvals...
but as it turns out..ROW folks are in good shape if they get LUD on their case as that means their cases are being looked into. For retro countries, it is a little tricky and they may be prioritizing older dates as their are more applicants than country quota...
I did not get RFE on I-485. In retrospect, I believe they may have assigned a visa number to my case back in late June. I did nothing special. Called once using POJ method and the IO was rude and said I should be calling Customer support and not them...but in all fairness, my case was within time-frame and I should not have called anyway....I could not visit home country for the last 7 yrs because of getting stuck in security checks as I needed visa stamp for re-entry...now I am relieved and can plan a visit home soon...

What does ROW mean, I see it used so many times in the forum. Good luck with your trip.I am in a similar situation not been to my home country in 61/2 years. So now I have decided to travel on AP. I leave on the 15th October. So was hoping and praying before that if I could get some news.
Mine has been a long journey for 485 as well as I 140 @ nebraska. No pp for the fear of RFE but I still got a tough one.
Its going to be 1 year since my 485 was filed. So I am hoping this is the last stage for me as EB1a -query had mentioned this is the time Nebraska is processing the Sept 2006 cases
