we had our interview today at the Memphis DO. we got there at 1:45 for a 2:30 appointment. Sat in the waiting area with 3 other couples. after about 45 min wait we were called in and Officer swore us in. He excused himself for a few min and came back with our file. he asked
(1)if were were still living together as husband and wife ,yes we answered. (2)how we met,
(3)if we had our id , bank statments, bills in our names, insuarance
(4) he then asked me if i was a communist
(5)if i had ever been deported
after that he said you will recieve your green card in 30 days and we were out of there.. all this took 15min
 
Congrats Jillian - you've been waiting as long as I have for a Memphis interview. Am going for ours next Wed, even tho they emailed a Deschedule Notice. We never got a paper copy, so I'm ignoring it and going anyway. Enjoy your Freedom !!
 
there are a whole set of questions they ask.
like
are you a communist?
are you spying for someone here?
will you get married again to someone after this?
have you done drugs? killed or injured someone? ..etc... :)
 
I agree i was asked all these questions too. I was also wondering can i-130 and 485 be denied even though i-765 was approved.

yes, its possible that the petition and the gc application is denied even though you get your EAD.

An EAD is only a temporary permit that you can use for work, while your AOS is pending. there could be a # of reasons why AOS can be denied, like name check, USCIS not convinced that yours is a bonafide marrige... :)
