Hey man thanks..and thanks to all! You are invited to lunch anytime any day my friend..You buy your ticket from(wisconsin?) and I will offer you lunch, dinner and breakfast!!!!

And funny thing..I needed an excuse to buy a PSP for XMAS and well instead of drinking myself to death..I am gonna go and buy a PSP and enjoy!

Is this message that USCIS sent me normal? It doesnt' say "approved" but says card was mailed..confused!

Thanks

Thanks for the invitation WantMyGcNow, I'll keep that in mind. Yes, this message is normal for the people who get approved by NSC. I got the same message. After this message, I got my GC in a week or so, never got any approval letter. The main thing is that your Citizenship clock has started ticking. It might be a little longer for you to get your GC just because of the load of USPS these days due to Christamas, as you probably very well know. Nonetheless, your GC journey is over.
Let's pray for Lazer and Atique now...... Lazer and Atique, we wish you a speedy approval, which could be any day now as long as the I/O working on your case believes in giving during the Christmas season ;) ........

PM, the thing is I travel to Europe on Dec 30-Jan 15 and I would love to have my GC in hand by then. If not should I still make my trip or delay it?

Dear Want san:

Congratulations from a poor soul in July 2000. Do not forget us & come back to us as before.

Wantmygcnow

Want, if I was you, I would make an infopass appointment for sometimes between Christams and New year. If you get your GC by then, you can just cancel it. If not, then take a couple of pics with you and tell the officer that you need temp GC to show as a proof of your permanent residency since you'll be travelling abroad. Take your air-line ticket and hotel reservations with you to validate your point.
Hopefully, you'll get your GC by then and can avoid this hassle.
Good luck.

Lazer

Lazer, I replied to your PM the very next day. Have you checked you PMs lately. If not I can resend it. Let me know.
Thanks
