Everyone,
I have just received the approval email and I am very happy! I wanted to share it with all of you. I hope that all of you who have been waiting patiently receive your approvals prior to July 1st! The email says that the case has been approved and the letter has been mailed. Should I go ahead and schedule an infopass appointment or wait?

My husband's I-485, who is derivative of mine, is still pending with the last LUD 6/09 which is the date after we completed our FP. Should I worry that his did not get approved the same time as mine? Could you please share with me your experiences?

Since you mentioned that you are from Greece I thought I would let you know that I visited Greece during the Olympics (for work) and then just last month for vacation. Nice country. Loved the islands. I had the opportunity to visit Rhodes and Crete. Did not want to come back to this mess ... hahaha

I am very happy to see another non-concurrent filing case approved. I filed my I-485 after my i-140 got appoved as you did. Your approval is very encouraging.

I miss Greece so much! I am from an island: Cyprus! I wonder sometimes too! I have been here for 12 years. Did you like the Olympics? Did you have a good experience?

Very good. The TSC has approved 2005 I-485 case.

I can understand your feelings. I'm in the same boat. TSC has been approving 485 cases filed in 2004 and 2005 but going extremely slow on the cases filed in 2003. This is very unfair. Getting your 485 approval from TSC is like a big jackpot!

Dear mvusa

I believe we all can und the situation as many ppl are going through.

Plz do not treat this as preach or somthing, and I have great respect whatever ur believes are.

Some time in life things doesn't go as we expect to happen, we don't know why, but God (whatever u believe or name him) knows that, and there would be some good reason in ur favor. and God knows that.

Think in this way if God has written G.C in your luck it would come to you on right time God choose for u, all you do is practice your faith, and make ur believes and faith strong and unshakeable on God. Do pray (whatever way u do). and always be hopeful , If God wish the day would come for you,

When we see no way there, God makes the way for us. Remember All Prayers done by depth of heart are listened and Answered. all you have to 'Trust' and 'Believe' without any doubt on him, and you will see the how God maks the way for u and ur family. :D

Never get disappointed from God, always be hopeful and smile. :D

I did not have a PD. I think my country of origin had a lot to do with that. I am originally from Cyprus, Greece. :)

Thank you for your response. I do understand your frustration--I would feel the same way if I were in your shoes. I believe that I am lucky. My origin has a lot to do with it: I am from Cyprus, Greece, and there are not many people from that area of the world who apply for Green Cards. I have been in this country for 12 years--It is one of my happiest days of my life today. I actually can't believe it yet. This process has gone very smoothly. I had no PD and no RFEs. I hope that you get your approval soon. Where are you from?

Thank You for your understanding. But beleive me, I do feel happy for you. I just like being honest and transparent. Your husband's approval is just around the corner. You should get it in a couple of days at the most.
To answer your question : I'm from Colombia, South America. Beautiful country but very poor and dangerous. Our government is very corrupted and we have many problems with "guerrillas forces" We came here for safety and employment reasons. I have one little son and another one on the way (2 months away!) I'm very gratefull to be able to care for and protect them in this country. I would feel so much safer if I had the security and certainty of a GreenCard!
