Hi all,

I saw the magic emails last night. Both mine and my spouse's 485 applications have been approved. I just could not believe it and thought I was imagining those emails :) . It was a long wait (20 months) just for the 485 and I'm glad it's over.

I learned a lot in this forum and because of you all, I got the name "Resident immigration expert" from my friends :) . Thanks to you all for answering my endless questions and for providing support during these past few months. I've been logging on to this site hundreds of time literally in the day (and night) especially in the past month.

Good luck to you all and hope most 485s are approved before Jan 1 2005. I know it's hard, but keep up your patience as much as possible and you will see this day soon.

RFE received by USCIS: 12/9/04
LUD changes: 12/10/04, 12/13/04, 12/14/04 (did not check in between 12/10 and 12/13 for LUD changes)
Spouse LUD changes: 02/2004 (for FP notice) and then 12/14/2004
AD: 12/14/04
 
Congrats !! good to know that they processed EB3 for PD sep 2002 ..indeed u r lucky ...

Now u can change your id to plastichopeful2005 :D

How many day does it took to Update the RFE response received after your attorney mailed the RFE response..

Because my attorney said she mailed it on 12/13/04.

Thanks all for the wishes. Shre, My attorney mailed it by Express Mail on the 8th. USCIS received it on the 9th and updated it on the website to show RFE response received on the 10th. (I did not check the status after the evening on the 9th till the morning of the 10th). If your attorney mailed the response on the 13th, they should receive it soon and an approval will be around the corner. However, in some cases, USCIS does not update the website even after they have approved the case. Check the LUD.

Secondary evidence of birth and parentage like medical records, school records religious documents or affidavit by know persons..

I have submitted affidavits from parents, Uncle ( father's brother) , marriage certificate, school records & copy of passport.

I got the same query and in the process of collecting docs.

I have already submitted Birth Affidavit from parents while filing of 485.


what are the documents should we need.

My assumption is

1) Non- avaliability cet
2) Affidavit from grand parent,aunt
3) school records : 10th, Engg Transfer Certificate and Masters T.C

what else should we need.
