By blessings of Almighty GOD, my case has been approved after a painful wait for 2 years.
Following are the details of my journey.
ND 09/2000
I 140 approved 10-2001 ( CP-Mumbai)
I-485 filed RD 02-25-2002
ND 03-22-2002
FP 1 06-20-2002
In Sept 2002, I thought about doing CP. I sent an E mail to US Consulate in India asking whether I can do CP or not. The consulate replied that my file is send back to Lincoln Nebraska in August 2002 as per the request of Lincoln INS.
FP 2 01-10-2004
RFE 02-25-2004 ( Employment Letter, and Daughters Medical)
Invoked AC-21.
RFE replied, reply receipt date 03-22-2004
Approved 04-15-2004 for the whole family.
Cannot update on Rupnet.
This is a very useful website. It has provided lot of moral support and very useful information. Thanks to Rajiv Khanna and team for maintaining this web site. I was literally addicted to this forum.
I wish good luck to every one who is enduring the pain of USCIS backlogs. I wish goodluck to Immigration Portal.org in their new effots to help immigrant community and I will support their efforts. I wish success to I-485 litigation.May God bless everyone.
