Approved!!!!

It's our tun finally!!

Mine and my wife's case have been approved. The status just
changed from "FP Received/Resumed" to Approved. Here are
the details

SRC0127355***
RD - Sep 10, 2001
ND - Sep 20, 2001
FP - Feb 2003
No RFE

They just received my wife's RFE response for AP. Not sure if it
triggered our approval.

With the postings recently, I was hopeful to get approval this month. But did not expect this soon since I had already checked my status 5 times today.

Thanks a lot to all the forum members. I wish all of you the very best and will pray for your speedy approval.

I am also worried if I am rejoicing too soon. Guess I need to wait till I get it in the mail or something. I will post my further progress.

Passport stamped today in Dallas

Completed the formalities this morning. Reached there around 6.30am and we were out at 8.30am. Got conflicting replies when we officers about when to get plastic card. (6-8, 12-18, 10-12 months depending on whom you ask). I was expecting a fancy green card stamp on passport(like visas). But as it turned out, the officer just struck out all visas, took a blank page and put a seal and signed saying 485 is approved. No complaints though :-) Quite happy actually to have this out of the way.

Good luck to all the 2001 filers that are still waiting and we will pray for your speedy approval.
