Approved!...Work Permit that is...

Hey guys,

well geeze I got approved for a Work Permit lol...kinda happy but yet I get my interview on the 22nd (JAN) so doesn't really matter to be honest but something positive always keeps me smiling :)

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On December 28, 2006, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30
days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will
contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You
can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow
the link below to register.

Note: October 16th I Filed by Work Permit.

It might! It will allow you to apply for job sooner. The difference could be having at least $1000 more in your pocket :p

Also, it doesn't hurt to have job by the time you go to interview even if you have co-sponsor. It helps remove the "suspision" of you be
ing able to provide for household and as I am sure "relieves to some degree" the co-sponsors" obligation. I wish you the best with your interview.

yeah, My step father has told me that I dont have to pay for rent or anything until I am on my feet, my first goal is to get a job, save up for a car so I can go to school.

well thank you, ya I just turned 19 so i dunno you could say im young lol. I gotta say tho, doing this immirgation thing on my own to me is a wise choice and many are yet to come :).

Hi:

You are heading in the right direction. Keep focused on your goals. While you are young, this whole experience will probably leave you more mature and self-sufficient than most people a lot older than you. Good luck.

Well thank you, I appreate it very much. You guys have been very surportive of my case and I truely thank you all. My family has said the samething and I just want to make them proud and most of all make myself proud too cause I know I can do something with my future and so far Im doing the right thing.
