Finally It Happened..... :)

How did this happen....?
I saw the new memorandum and faxed a request.....
Nothing happened for 3 weeks....
Was persistent and tried second level fax....
Got approved in a week.

I was a spectator all this time and finally registered to share this news with everyone. Thanks to all the volunteers and Mr.Khanna for this great resource
for all GC seekers.

Survivor76, what memorandum are you talking about ? What did you write on your requests ?

I would appreciate if any visitors can reply these questions..
Does any one know what happens after I-485 approval...

1) After I get the approval notice, is there any interview ?
2) How long does it take to get the card?
3) My wife got an RFE on May 24th and will this delay my processing?
 
NO interview, just take your approval notice and get the passport stamped and u will get ur card in a few weeks. i got approved on April 19th, stamped on May 5th, card arrived today

Is this Fax thing going to work for Non-concurrent filers as well. looks like my dates are almost close to Survivor?

Reach_honey---->U said you are waiting for approval????? what are are you waiting for.you can also try sending a Fax inquiry?
Don't get upset as i can see from this face-off :mad: .................. :)

reach_honey....

You can fax a request if the RFE is received and it stays the same for 2 months.
I have seen this in the enquiry form itself.

Which memorandum are you referring to?
 
You rememeber a memoradum that was released on April 20th or 21st that talks about
if your case is concurrent + your I-140 is approved + fingerprints done + name check done then you ready to be adjudicated. BCIS is supposed to issue an RFE or approve it directly...That document is attached in some thread..and also in the news section of this site.
