My case is approved yesterday and I strongly believe contacting George Allen/VA helped me.

In my case it did not help at all.
Contacted 2 times. 1st time was told to wait 30-60 days. After waiting for 90 days, contacted again in nov 2003. He did not even acknowledge the receipt of the letter, leave alone getting some help from INS.
So your post has no meaning at all.
 
I also don't think so, I did contacted them for my case on Dec 8th 2003...

Still.... I have not received any update either from BCIS or from the senator.


Very likely... your case get aproved on its own !!

Thankyou All for the support,

I did update Rupnet last night.
RFE was about employment letter and two paystubs.

In my case the Senator's office actually sent me the Email reply they got from the USCIS and a very nice letter offering more help if required. I was impressed.

Anyway,I guess it depends case to case. I thought worth a try for all of us as we see no other alternatives.
