Firt of all thanks a lot to this forum organizers and members. Specially for Ginnu and Real_Canadian who have provided me enormous help when I am looking for advise on immigration matter.

Today I have recieved email from USCIS stating I-485 has been approved.
I am still waiting for my spouse's case approval, it could be matter of few more days or weeks.

I-140 AD 09/2004
FP first code 11/2004
Applied AC21 07/2005
LUD on I-140 10/2005 (employer revoked I-140)
Recieved NOID on 03/2006
Replied to NOID 04/2006
LUD on 05/2006 (recieved the evidence for NOID)
2nd FP 05/2006
Case Trasferred VSC > TSC March 7th 2007
NO LUDS in between
I-485 Approved on 06/27/2007
 
Congrats ! Got your Patcha. Am eagerly waiting for mine. My PD is June 2001 and RD is June 2005. XFER to TSC on 15-Mar-2007.

What is name check? how to verify the name check was done or not?
What is the number to call CSR... I used the number to call is
(800) 375 – 5283...
When can I expect mails....

Sure, my wishes to all those who are waiting for thier turn.

Just a suggestion don't sit doing nothing. Follow up on your case.
Find out if your name check is cleared or not. Even if it is cleared write a letter to your senator to expedite the GC approval process. Most of the times if they follow up it may work.

I am not sure in my case my senator has followed up, But I am thinking he did. I wrote a letter to him on 06/20 and he replied back saying he is contacting USCIS. So I guess it worked or it might not have. But I did what ever I have to do.

Can you please post here the sample letter that you wrote to your senator. Also did you email it or snail mail it to senator office?
