Approved - Spouse in India on Advance Parole

One of my friend, he had the same situation. He was here and his family(wife and kids are at INDIA). They had been to INDIA with AP. They did their passport stamp after returning from INDIA.
It was in May/June 2002.. I am not sure if currently what are the issue.

I know for sure , same thing happened to one of my friend. His wife was in india when 485 got approved. He got stamped and went to india. When they came back she was not allowed to reenter USA as her Advance parole was invalid moment he get stamped. She has to go back and apply greencard again. So check properly before getting stamped.
