Thanks everybody on this forum!! I think the 284 has started.

I have some questions:
What all documents are needed for stamping.
Also my wife is in India and i am also leaving in next week, Should i get it
stamped before leaving (if i get the notice) or get it stamped after coming back. Could it be done in India? I have advance parole for both of us and i am on EAD.

The notice says you will need the notice, your passport, your I-94 and two INS-style ( ADIT ) fotos. My lawyer suggested that I take the AP too. But the officer does not ast for AP, EAD or anything else.
Also it does not matter which copy of the notice you take , you can take the original ( the one probably your lawyer will receive ) or the courtesy copy ( the one you will get ).
 
My PD was 12/99 but 485 receipt has it blank. (EB2)

I live in OAKLAND. Do i need to go to San francisco or Sanjose?

Also any reconmendation regarding timing , day etc.

Congratulations, I think you will goto SFO.

Regarding stamping. I think it is better to get you PP stamped before leaving to India. Reagarding your wife talk to your attorney. Once AOS is approved AP, EAD are invalidated automatically.

PassPort Stamping after 485 Approval?

485 have been approved for my wife and me on April 1st week. But my wife is in India now and she will back in few months. Please answer my following questions:
1. Can I stamp my passport alone?
2. Can I get a stamping in India with my wife, is it advisable?
3. Other options?
