Just checked my case status online........ and you know what... It is approved. My spouse's as well as my child's case is also approved on October 5th 2002.

FP: 01/24/2002 Status updated on 02/06/2002
09/13/2002 Called IIO to check the status.
09/16/2002 Applied EAD Renewal.
GC APPROVED 10/05/2002
EAC-02-049-52XXX

Congrats!! My Rd is same as yours and EAC-02-048-5xxxx. On 10/07, I was informed by a nice IIO that, my RD is 11/01 and will take couple of months for decision. Suggested I apply for EAD renewal. What luck eh?
