Passport Stamped at Baltimore...
Hi friends,
Went to Baltimore today morning in pouring rain. Reached the center. After going through the security checks reached Room 101 at about 08:15 am. Got a number each for me and my wife. Got called after 3-4 minutes. Presented the courtsey copy of the approval, passport with I-94 in it, photos.
Informed the lady at the desk about the imminent address change. Had to present a proof of new address. I presented the loan statement from the bank with my new address on it. The lady wrote down the new address on the sheet on which she also took my signature and right index finger print.
The lady took my I-94, stamped the passport and wrote down the A# on it. Verified its corectness and thus was done in 5 minutes.
My wife also presented the loan document for the proof of address. She was called about 1 minute later than me and was also done within 5 minutes.
Total time for us in room 101 was about 12-15 minutes.
Now waiting for the card to come at new address. Meanwhile will file AR-11 for the address change.
Plan to go to SSA to get rid of the '....INS authorization' words.
