Our I-485 (me and my wife's) has been approved on 04/14/2003 according the online check but AVM has still not been updated.

Calling BCIS

Hey Guys,

I have never called an IIO.Is it a good idea to call specially when one is closer to getting the green card.Did you guys ever called?

Onleewords: I never called any IIO, as my lawyer felt that since they keep track of such calls it was not advisable to call unless the processing date were much past the RD..It may not be true but again IIO's r so unpredictable !!!

Sorry I missed mentioning this in my earlier post...Thanks to Rajiv and his staff for maintaining such a great site..I always had an answer to my questions somewhere in this site..thanks all
