Hey Guan...

..and anyone else: So if one crosses the border to canada during the I485 will one be automatically RFE\'d?? I had to get my PP stamped since it was (new) renewed.
 
I think you may be RFE\'d

if you enters US from Canada without a new I-94 issued to you. You may need to keep your old passport and provide every page of it to INS even the old expires when filing I-485. Do you need restamp your passport when the old passport expires? I think the visa stamp on the old passport still valid as long as you stay in US.
