Our case is not age-out case. Our son is 5 years old.
The officer told me my fp did not be taken clearly.(I took tiwce). That iswhy we got an interview. She asked some general questions ,did not require any document except the passports. It took us one hour to finish.

Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS!

And thank you so much for letting us know. It has been so long since we saw an approval on this board.

It is terrific to see this approval, I do hope this is a harbringer of the things to come and the next month sees a lot more approvals!

I do not think EB1, 2 or 3 has influence on I-485 processing.
Mine is EB1, but have been here for a quite while (RD: 10/03/01,
ND: 11/07/01). INS does not follow any rule, it does what it
likes and makes funny.

I think you meant wac-01-139 .. anyway .. you waited long .. congrats ..

I wanna see some non-transferee approvals .. DUDE.

140, any of that chicken still left?

Lucky San Diego ..

explain ..

Silly Man, Can you please explain these or giveme a pointer to this ..

What are transferee cases ..

What are age-out cases ..

Thanks ..

transferree and age out.

Eventually, every green card needs to be given post interview. However, for most employment based cases, this interview requirement is waived. However, a transferee case is what got transferred to a local office for an interview. Usually transferred case would mean a very much longer delay .. it sucks. Lately the transferee percentage has skyrocketed by almost 800%. Yea it sucks.

Ageout is related to family based. Say you are the father of a 17 year old son. The rule/law dictates that kids below 18 (or 21?) years of age can be sponsored for GC. Now you filed for his app when he was 17, but frickin' INS took so long that the kid is no 58 years old with kids of hiw own .. .. well not that bad .. .

Age out cases are what INS expedites so the kid doesn't cross 18 (or 21?) age.

Thank you ..

Thank you .. Resident of INS-tortureville ..

We all are your neighbors infact .. :)
