Approved on cancelled interview appointment!!!

Has anybody showed up on the date of the cancelled interview and still got approved? My original interview date was for Feb 29 but it got cancelled and I still havent got a rescheduled interview date. I'm thinking of showing up on the date of the cancelled interview but I dont know if they'll interview me or not. Anybody had any similar experience? please post
 
Usually interviews get canceled because your file(s) haven't shown up sufficiently in advance of the appointment date. Hard to say for sure, but maybe worth the trip if it isn't too far out of your way.
 
I would go on the day as per original schedule and see what they say. Make sure u make copies of everything u get from USCIS including envelopes and if they take any originals to keep do not let them take it.

They have so many databases that its a mess out there and the cancellation could be an administrative error. Or sending you an appointment can be an administrative error. But if it was originally scheduled and then later cancelled and the IO who has ur file has not updated his calendar you might get through the interview.

Give it a shot. Nothing to loose. Get a stamp saying you did show up and u were asked to leave as your appointment has been cancelled and get it in writing.
 
??? How would they approve you

I am just curious to how you would be approved when they usually go over original documentation when you go in for your interview to verify that is real. I have never heard of someone being approved when they didnt show up but I have heard of people who have denied for not showing up even though they got a reschedule notice.
