Our I-485 were approved yesterday. RD 9/4. ND 11/~ RFE reply 11/~

I would be very appreciated if I can get final help from this forum. Can you guy let me know what document I need to bring for passpor stamp? Friend told me need to update social security card after getting green card, what else we need to do after getting green card?

I have a H1 extension pending in INS now, it was submitted last November, do I need to inform INS about I-485 approval, so they don't need to process my H1 extension?

Thanks

Congratulations!
For passport stamping, your approval letter + passport should be sufficient. It does not hurt if you bring all materials for your 485 application (e.g. birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.) in case you need to satisfy the officer's curiosity (there is no reason for them to ask though).

You should withdraw your H-1B extension for courtesy of your fellow applicants. If everyone does the same (withdrawing pending apps after GC approval), INS workload can be reduced a little and hence the process time will be shortened.

Enjoy your freedom!
