I got approved today. Oh my god. I can't believe that. I just complained this morning.

I received below message:

On April 13, 2006, a welcome notice was mailed for this case. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 during business hours.

I am so happy.!!!!!

congrats!!!

I have very similar dates (in the beginning of process) as yours, but I turned in RFI stuff late. Bio was + or - a couple weeks late, and med exams + or - a couple months late. The first mainly because i was out of the country, and the second, because i was out of $ :( : ) I got med exams done as soon as possible. I feel like I kinda screw up, but regret now is a waste of time...

So, enjoy it!!! congrats again

If anybody have had a similar experience to mine, please post a comment here or (preferably) reply another thread i got going on called Question about RFI - related 2 turning medical exams and doing fingerprint late

Thank you Henri97.

I hope you will not get an RFE so that you don't need to wait unnecessary time. I saw your LUD date changed on 3/27, I hope the officer is working on your case and you will get an approval soon.

I know the waiting game is no fun. I was frustrated with the process and complained about it this morning. Now, I got approved. You cannot really tell how the game will play out. Good luck to you.

cchong ... u r really lucky!

According to the new uscis (asylee adjustment) timeline, people with our I-485 dates are supposed to get approved only Sept of next year. Hopefully a lot of people will be approaved "earlier", like you.... I hope, me too... u right no RFE request, so far... crossing my fingers... let us know when u get the green

henri97,

Yes. I consider myself one of the lucky ones. If you pay attention to the postings, you will quickly find out that I am not the only one who got approved. A number of people who have receipt date of 2003 have received thier approvals. That was the reason I was so stress out. I am not trying to stress you out now.

If you look at my signiture, I did get RFE request. I hope you can aviod RFE and this will save you some times. Keep your fingers cross.

I will let the board know when I get my gc.

Cloty,

I want to ask you something about your Lud change when you did your Bio code 3 because we have similar dates but I never got any Lud change when I did my Bio code 3 and Uscis received my med and bio on March 7th and I haven't received any good news about green card. I was wondering if you received any Lud change to compare with mine time frame.

Thanks,

I am feeling dejavu because I can swear I answered this question from you on another thread, heh. Anyway, I don't know if my LUD changed when I did my BIO because I was not checking my online status then (I was not aware of that service at the time). The LUD changes in my sig are the ones that I got since February which is when I started checking it, From the looks of it your approval seems to be near also. Maybe my name check came quicker or maybe your IO is a bit lazier than mine, but I really do not think you are that behind and hopefully you will be approved soon.

Two days later my case status chnaged to

Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or
to Adjust Status

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On April 15, 2006, an approval notice was
mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice,
you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address,
please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business
hours.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case
status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or

Wait, let us get this straight. You had the money to go abroad and then claimed poverty when it came to do your medical exam?

This is not believable.

maybe u didn't mean to be rude but you sure sounded a bit (at least) rude

After being laid off from my job, a couple years ago, I decided that getting a B.A. might help me in the future to get a better job and improve my english and professional skills. So I go to college.

I never expected that uscis would move this fast. So i went on a semester abroad - to montreal canada. i had no permission to work there in canada. so i came back to california, where i live, broke. i have no rich daddy to pay my expenses, but i had just enough for this trip. When i came back ijust had money for food/housing, not a penny more.

yes part of me wish i had not gone - just because of the uscis paperwork related to my adjusment. but hey that's life. it happened that way...

frombasra i was checking your imput in other parts of the forum... you seem to be a "helpful" person.... "good going"... (not) maybe i am the rude one, if i misunderstood you. Very critical your comment(s) - at least i perceived it that way. Or maybe u r just too young and imature?;or old and bitter? Or young and bitter? or old and imature? I believe the point here (in the forum) is to help each other..
