I received magic mails y'day that both mine as well as my wife's 485 app's were approved.
ND : May '03
FP1: Mar '04
NO RFE at any stage.

Question: My passport (India) expires next yr. and my spouse has 20yr. validity passport. Per recent news I heard, we have to get the 20 yr valid passports changed to 10yrs. What do you guys think I do? Should I get the passports changed/renewed first and then go for (I-551) stamping or I can do the passport renewal later?

Donalahandro .... your RD and FP dates are exactly the same as mine. Did you have any LUD changes recently?

It doesn't matter. Even if you get I-551 stamp on your old PP, and get new PP, you can carry old PP with new one. You can also use old PP as long as it carries any valid visas.
I used my H1B vasa on my old PP, and my PP renewded and got new one. I don't face any problems while entering into US.
