Our Cases(Spouse and self) have been approved.
Here is the complete gory details:
11/17/2000: Applied for Labor Certification
02/02/2001: LC Approved at State Level
06/06/2001: LC Approved by DOL
06/12/2001: I-140 RD - EB2 - At Texas Service Center
07/23/2001: I-140 ND
01/22/2002: RFE for I-140 regarding EB2(Experience Proof)
06/25/2002: I-140 Approved
07/17/2002: I-485 RD - At NSC - LIN022405xxxx
07/20/2002: I-485 ND
09/10/2002: FP1
07/2002 - 06/2004: Applied and got approval for 3 EADs and 3 APs (No RFE for any of them)
05/06/2004: FP2
06/17/2004: I-485 Approved with NO RFE.
Last Update Date history:
08/13/2002: Probably the date when our FP1 notice was generated.
06/18/2004: Approval message.
The case status message never changed since day1. Even after FP1 and FP2 the case status message did not change.
Today morning (06/18) the message said the same old "it takes 570 to 600 days..." message..
Today afternoon the message reads "This case has been approved. On June 17, 2004, an approval notice was mailed.". (I don't know if approval email has been sent by USCIS or not; I cannot check my email until I go home. Update: I received 2 emails from USCIS: one for my case(12.01 noon) and two for my wife's case(1.01pm))
I think some of you may want to know the following info:
Never changed my Employer. Employer is not a big company; probably has less than 50 employees. I have been working in the same client same position since I applied for GC(actully even before that). No address change. Not sure why no RFE; I was expecting to get one (either for employment verification or for my wife's birth certicate; her BC was obtained in 2002 and I thought they might want affidavit too). I did contact my Senators 2 weeks ago complaining about the delay in processing of our case. They called me back and basically said they can't do anything until the processing date is at least 30 days past my Notice Date. Not sure what brought USCIS's attention to my case; probably 3rd EAD?
