Hi All,
By God's grace our I-485 was approved on Feb 27, 2004. We received the Approval Notice from our lawyer today.

PD Aug, 1999
I-485 Jan 8, 2002
RFE received and responded May, 2003 (for EVL, pay stubs, etc.)
2nd FP June, 2003
Phone inquiry Dec 15, 2003
3rd FP Jan 7, 2004 (they took our FP)
Fax Feb 4, 2004
AD Feb 27, 2004

I would like to thank all those who contribute to the forum. Rajiv Khanna for putting up this forum and his contribution to the immigrant community. Kashmir thank you very much for your unselfish and hard work, I-140 for your advice and all those have have put in so much for making this forum an inspiration to those who are bogged down by the stress of living here and waiting for the approval.
My husband has been living here for the last 10 years. I think our wait has been worth it. Suggestion to those waiting for a long time. Don't rely on your lawyer to make inquiry. Follow up a phone inquiry with a fax inquiry. And have faith in God.

Kind of strange to see that yours is a Jan 2002 case but you got an RFE in May 2003+ between your 2nd and 3rd FP,it was hardly 7 months.
