Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On March 30, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

How will I get the social security card will they mail it to me or will I have to go and get it?

Did you submit proof of marriage (bills, etc.) in your initial package?

Incidentally, for the other poster above, Laurex did have an interview, because she applied through DORA, a special program in the Dallas Office where the interview is held upfront.

Once you get your Greencard you will need to go down to the socail security office and apply for a card, they will mail it to you and it takes about 2 weeks to arrive..Congrats
