Approved! I-140 was for CP

I-140 was approved for CP in EB1 (India) category. Applied for AOS.

RD: May 10, 2001
ND: June 18, 2001
AD: May 07, 2002

No RFE at any stage, Finger printing in Dec 2001.

My lawyer had called NVC last month and she was told that my file had been sent to Mumbai consulate on April 16, 2001.
I don\'t know what happened after that. I had lost my hopes of timely approval of I-485, did not check AVM for many days. But, to my pleasant surprise, got Approval Notices of I-485 for me and my wife last Saturday in mail. Apparently, there was not much delay.

What is NVC ? Can anybody let me know their contact phone#.
RD/ND Mar,2001 Waiting. ...
Talked to IIO last Friday. He said your file is waiting for your I-140 approval notice. I asked him, where it is supposed to come from ? Any one have any clue ?
