Approved H1B transfer

Hi friends,
I got my H1B approved thro' Infosys, Hyderabad and they haven't sent my documents for stamping and don't know when they will be doing that. Except my petition number, (which has Approved Status when I checked online) I don't have any other details. Can I go for H1B transfer now with a US based company as I my H1B got approved with Infosys or do I need to wait till April '05 for filing a new H1B?

To transfer you should be in the US with valid I 94 (document given at US airport). means you have to stamp the visa in your PP in US consulate in India first and travel to USAThanks in advance,
