August-02 RD approved...

Finally we (I and my wife) got a call from our lawyer today saying that our cases have been approved on Dec. 27. We didn't expect this so soon.

Also, received approval notices in mail today. Online status is also showing the same.

We would like to thank Mr. Khanna for this excellent site and for pulling people together towards the common goal and providing the guidance whenever needed. We would also like to thank the active members of this forum. We wish all the best to everyone who are waiting for their approval.

congrats

And good luck to you.
When you go, do take ur EAD and Parole papers if any as well. You need not submit them, but keep them handy. Sometimes they ask and sometimes they dont. Also I had to give both my original approval notice as well as my copy. They wanted that for the address. They said they need both. So just in case, take the copy too. Maybe someone can shed some light on the copy vs notice sent to lawyer and which you should take or whether we really need the notice after the GC is stamped

Congrats

Enjoy your freedom friend.

While the approving trend is defintely positive, the random behaviour of BCIS is defintely causing a concern for all of us. BCIS has become a casino and lucky gamblers win the game.

congrats!

Enjoy your freedom!!

Let the approvals fly during 2004...that is the only way for the backlog to reduce.
