Approved Finally!!

It has been a real long wait for me and my wife. Here are the details:

RD: Feb 21 2001
ND: Mar 1 2001
FP: Aug 20 2001
RFE for employment verification: Jan 29 2002
RFE recieved: Feb 13 2002
Approval: Oct 15 2002.

It was a loong and tensing wait where I was seeing people who have applied almot a year after me getting approved.

I am very happy and relieved person now!!

This is ridiculously long time. Very unsual.

More than EIGHT months to hear a decision on a RFE. Did you get a second RFE? Or were you only waiting during this period?

Did you or Lawyer contact Congressmen/ Senator for asking them to check with INS to ask them why it was getting delayed ????
