Just checked that for me and my wife, the online status says the magic words. "Your case has been approved. On March 9, 2004, notice has been sent ..."

Mine is AC21 case.

- Filed LC from NJ co. A in 1999.
- Got it approved and file 140 fro mthe same co.

- Changed to co. B in Aug. 2000 since they were ready to file new LC.

- Mid 2001, Co. B still did not file LC, but I-140 from co. A got approved.

- Jan. 2002, got laid off by co. B.

- Fortunately co. A was ready to provide an employment letter! so filed 485 in Feb. 02.

- Got EAD, and started looking for a job. Got job with co. C (short term assignment). Finished it in Aug. 02.

- Got a permanent job offer from co. D (publicly traded) with 30% higher salary stated in LC.

- Got RFE for:

- Medical (doctor screwed up X-ray report, needed an updated one)

- Tax return (submitted 2003 return)

- Employer letter from co. D was sent mentioning Duties, and Salary. No paystubs were required (but still submitted). INS was not informed abou the AC21 earlier, the lawyer mentioned it in the letter that the duties are same as LC and using AC21 my case should be approved. Also, mentioned that it has been after 180 days that I changed the job. My co. D also gave the letter which stated exactly what I wanted to say and as per the LC's job descripotion.

- 3/9/04 - Approval letter sent.

RFE: 2/18/03
Replied to RFE: 2/21/03

Is 2003 correct, or should it read 2004?

Did you seek help from Senator/Congressman?
