My first words were, oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Approved! I'm finally done! :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I have been current since Nov 1, 2006 but no action. I called UCIS on Dec 22 but not sure if that call and inquiry jolted them to approve my case. Here's the email I got today. Thanks to all of you who have been so helpful and good luck! And yes, I'll update you when I get the plastic card!

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On January 8, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I can see you had not luds for a little while in your I-485.

I got mine to my home address which is on file with USCIS.

have u been stuck in namecheck? or just the whole issue was the retrogression?

Hello antonioa77, I don't think I was stuck in name check. I was stuck in retrogression for a while then on November 1, 2006 I became current. Two months later they approved my application.

I really wish everyone luck. I also think a bit of patience helps, although I know it's easier for me to say now.

Thanks everyone and take care. This forum rules! I recommend it to all my friends who are dealing with immigration stuff.
