Approved!! Dec 2001 case

Hi all,

My case has been approved.
Details are as follows:
Primary case-
RD: Oct 2001
AD: Feb 2003

My case-
RD: 12/26/2001
ND: 01/04/2002
1st fp: 05/30/2002
2nd fp: 09/11/2003
AD: 11/25/2003
Approval notice re'vd: 12/06/2003
PP stampped: 12/09/2003
EAC-02-07*-*****

No RFE, no 2nd Medical Test etc. Received 3rd fp notice along with approval letter, but we ignored it (as specified on it). Now PP has been stampped and wait continues....for the plastic card. I'm very happy though :)

I would like to thank all you guys including Mr Rajiv Khanna for all the wealth of information. Best of luck to all of you.

Thank you, cmacti, ar888 and gc_lotto for yours wishes.

No gc_lotto, it wasn't an early fp. Actually I received 2nd fp notice on 07/31/2003 and went for an early fp the very next day. But they refused and asked me to come back again on the scheduled date which was 09/11/2003 and so, I did.

Congrats, afer this long wait.
Any specific reason for delay in ur case? Was urs a FTJ case?

OmGV, I'm not sure why there was so much of delay in approving my case. Now, if you are comparing time taken to approve primary case and mine, then in that case there is an explanation. My husband applied for I485 in Oct 2001, we got married in Nov2001 and we applied for my I485 in Dec 2001.
