Approved case question

My case was approved yesterday. I received an e-mail notification. Does anybody know what I should expect now? Is there any additional paper work? Or will they just stamp my passport? Or will the green card be mailed to me?

Any input will be appreciated,

now, you will get approval letter from cis in few days that will ask you to make an appointment with cis office in your area to get your passport stamped or to get temporary green card after that in few days you will get your real GC.plz let us know your timeline.!
 
I have got my approval letter and there is no one word about going to local office and got stampled. They did not ask any picture. The only one notice that alien registration card will be mailed directly within120 days.
Is there any changes in a process and they are not going to staple a passport?

Today my husband got the letter of approval with the same notification. I thought it was a mistake, because a couple weeks ago my case has been approved and I was asked to make infopass appt. I made it and have a temp. green card since yesterday. So what is happening, is it a new procedure, or just a wrong message. a case has been approved on April 19, and letter came today. I think he will just go to immigration and they will find out there. Otherwise it could be only waist of time, they say to wait 120 days, he has an appt. on May 5. Who has more info, let me know pls.

They will not stamp ur passport because it's expired already unless you renewed it. They should issue u a temporary card. Good luck.
 
Do you think I can make an app. in Local emigration office and ask them to clarify this situation for me? I have no reference to local emigration office. The approval letter has a clear msg - wait for 120 day. Have somebody been in the same situation and how it has been resolved?

you can make an appointment to inquire but I personally think you won't be able to make it earlier than 2 weeks from now and I believe you will get the GC before that. I remember seeing a post somewhere that a person got the same letter and he got his GC in a week or two..
