Approved but waiting for letter

Hi
Mine got approved on 05/27. I called INS to update the address on 05/28. I have not received the letter yet. However
my wife's case is not yet approved.

How many days will it usually takes to recieve the letter.

RD 12/12
ND 12/19.

Talk to your lawyer, BCIS send original approal to Lawyer !

It takes a week to receive the approval letter and in all possibility, they letter might be out on the same day it gets approved !
 
Congrats !

I am in NJ and received the letter 6 days after.
I used that letter for the passport stamp plus 2 pictures, EAD and Parole
 
My I-485 application was approved on May 16, 2003 and I received the approval notice (copy) on May 25, 2003. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
 
You can do onething, go to postoffice and ask them to hold your mail. Go and check everyweek. That way you don't miss any letter. I don't know if they send the approvals in ordinary mail or express mail. Ordinary mail is no problem, as long as you requested to hold or forward. But I am not sure about the Express mail. You can always check with the post office guys to see what they do.
But if it is fedex etc, it is totally different case. I don't think INS uses FEDEX.
