Approved Asylee waiting for GC

Hi folks,

Here is little 411 about my case:

Asylum approved = 8/99
Applied for I-485 = 9/00
Received a letter from USCIS asking for Medical = 3/7/05
Medical sent = 3/21/05
Received a letter from USCIS asking for Finger print / Bio = 3/21/05
Finger print / Bio done = 4/9/05

Online status says that they have received my stuff and I should be receiving a written notification about the decision. On this site somewhere, I was reading a memo from uscis stating that USCIS is sending mass email notifications to only those who have been selected to get approved in the fiscal year 05. Does this mean I will get approved this year since I received the notification or my dates will fall in next fiscal year? Any comments or suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks

Yes you are due to get it this year. You will get an email notification and a letter in mail. Make sure you keep on checking your LIN#. If you dont get a response by August 31, 2005. Write a letter asking the status of your case.

kaoticfury! My ND is Oct 19, 2000. We really need to share information on this forum as soon as we receive our approvals.
