Hi All,

my case is approved 0n 03/24/2004.

My finger prints are expiring on 03/31/2004.

My attorney says, In notice they didn't say anything about interview. It just says some days and times to come over for stamping.

It might take couple of more days to receive notice to me by mail.

So, when i go there my finger prints might be expred 1 or 2 days back, DO I HAVE TO WORRY ANYTHING ABOUT THIS?

Once it is approved, do they still think of 15months expiry, i mean what happens if 15 months duration falls between approval and stamping in passport?

thanks,
Krishna

I wouldn't worry about it

Your FBI background report, which as I understand is what the fingerprints are needed for, was current at the time of approval. Expiration of the report should have no impact on your passport stamping, which itself is a documentation of the fact that you are approved and not an approval. In any case, they'll be taking your fingerprints again at the time of stamping.

They take only one fingerprint, not 10, for your green card while stamping. That is not background check.
