However, I have a Question for you, AndhraBabu.

Did you not submit the Employment Letter, PayStubs and W2 Tax Information along with 485 Application, or they ask for it
again from you to submit before they approve?

My wife and I were also approved on 07/26/2002 just 4 days after INS received RFE response (07/22/2002).

Question For AmericanBabu

What tax information did you submited. I have submitted transcript of my last two year taxes from IRS when I applied for 485. Does one has to submit original tax informations? Thanks in advance

Thanks. And i had submitted all the information with 485, but INS asked for it again. Do not know on what conditions they ask for additional information. I think it is all based on the officer that is working on the case.

i submitted only copies of w2/tax forms. You do not have to submit originals. Only lettters like employment should be sent an original.

so one can still get RFE for Tax Papers/Employment Letter/Paystub althu one submits at time of filing 485.
