We, myself and my wife, got the approval notice on 8-Aug. We responded for the RFE (Employment letter), and online message still not changed from "Received response...". Notice date of the approval receipt is 05-Aug. My wife did not take all vaccines due to pregnency, hence we were expecting medical RFE, but without any RFE, my wife's case also got approved.
We went to INS-Philly yesterday, Monday, 11-Aug, for PP stamping and no appointment. After the documents check, we got the tokens. The processing/waiting time of each case took long time (some times 1 hr for a case). The reason being lot of other petitions are also getting processed and there is no dedicated counter for GC stamping. I am not sure about the rush on other days. For those who go to Philly INS for stamping, you got to be watching for your turn, if you miss then you have to get a new token number or should come back next day if there is no sufficient time, most of the Immigration officers are not friendly. Our case got processed in 15-30 minutes.
The Details they asked us:
1. Approval Notice
2. 2 ADIT style photos
3. EAD card
4. Advance Parole visa
5. Proof of Address (Drivers License)
6. Passport (they did not check for PP validity)
7. I-94 form
We gave our right hand index print and signature on a form, I forgot the form number. We got back the PP with stamping and the Drivers License.
