We had our Interview at San Jose on Jun 22. We got approved and had our
passports stamped the same day. We hired a attorney to accompany us, he
did nothing hardly saying any word.
I think we were one of the unlucky ones, whose case was transfered for
no apparent reason. The interview officer asked all the standard questions.
He did stress on the marriage part. Looking at family album and utilty
bills etc.
We had two marriage Certificates, One under Hindu marriage Act and other
one obtained through the magistrate. The second certificate had a typo in it. My spouses father\'s name had a r replaced with d. The officer asked about it and we told him that they are pronounced similarly. He seemd
convinced about legal marriage and did not create any problems.
