Approved according to IIO (Dec 2000)

CONGRATULATIONS and a question
Did you talk to the IIO in the recent past and did the IIO indicate that they would expedite your case or do something special. I guess what I am trying to ask is do you think, if a previous call and conversation with an and IIO before today had a hand in moving your case (considering that you like me were a long delayed case).
If so, how long back did you talk to the IIO. Also, how many times did you talk to an IIO.

My RD is 10/00 and I am still waiting too. I last talked to an IIO 4 weeks ago who had said that she would get the case moving, but nothing has happened so far. Your info is appreciated.

BTW, My spouse is not approved yet.
I have had may be 3 converations with IIOs in this year.
Each had different answer.
First time, I asked if they could expedite my case, they said they can not do any thing about it.
Second time, they told me that my application has to be connected between 140 and 485.
Finally, Third time I got the approval answer.
My guess is that NSC is clearing the backlog.
You should be approved soon.

To another question,
My 140 was approved for CP. I also found from NVC that it went to Chennai. In every conversation with my attorney, she always mentioned that it would not matter even though it was approved for CP.
But one II0 told me that they were verifing my I-140 with chennai.
In fact, I am confused with all this. I just hope my attoney was right.
