Hi Friends,

My and my wife's case got approved today. I am from ROW.

Here are some details:

Labor PD: June 2002
I485: originally filed at TSC
RD of I-485: November 27th 2006

I only had two LUDs. One after they received the case and another on 2/20/07.
I found out through inquiries that they pre-adjudicated our cases on 2/20/07.

I never had issues with name check etc. I did send letter to CIS ombudsman for enquiry of my case and he followed up with USICS. USCIS responded back that i would get approval within 45 days.....and they were right that i REALLY got approval within 45 days.

Could you please shed some light on what you wrote in the letter to ombudsman?

Format of the letter would really help.
what address did you send this letter at ?

I think CIS ombudsman will take care of cases from ROW not for cases of India I guess after seeing few replies posted by some people..
 
CIS ombudsman letter

Hi sfoguy,

Congratulations and enjoy the freedom. I have been waiting for long time for I-485 approval. I Would be thankful if you could please post the format of letter to CIS ombudsman. Do I need to attach receipt of I -485 or just write receiplt number in the letter. I am in Massachussetts.

I would be glad if you could give me the details

Basically, i first showed him (CIS ombudsman) my concern that i have been waiting since 2002 and i have been badly affected by retrogression.
I also mentioned that i can't avail good opportunities at some other places....

Basically it was kind of a one and a half page letter.
