approved 2 days after case reaches IIO's desk

Both wife's and my case were approved today 8/9/02 per AVM.

My data: CHN (Canadian citizen) EB3, PD 1/3/00, RD 7/5/01, AD 8/17/01, EAD/AP renewal filed/received 07/09/02. Very frequent AVM user in last 3 weeks (3 times per day).

FYI: I was told 2 days ago that my case "just went to an officer's desk, should hear something very quick".

Hi, how do you know that you case went to IIO's desk in days ? I'd like to know and maybe I can do my own homework. What's AVM ?

AVM = automated voice messaging.

I was told my case status by an immigration information officer. Two days later, my case got approved.
