approved 140 LUD change while 485 stays put.

My 140 (EB-1A) was approved long long time ago, while my 485 has been stuck and no LUD change after FP more than one year ago. However, today I noticed an LUD change on my 140 (no status change) while my 485 still remains untouched. Any guru here know what this means? Isn't it strange?

I 485 ND 09-30-05 RFE LUD 05-24-06, 05-25-06 AD WAITING...

When I checked the status for I140. The AD has changed from 02-01-06 to 06-01-06. I dont have any clue...
Did you check your AD in the staus of I140?
What is your AD for I140 now?

Same here, my I-140 LUD changed to 6/3/2006 with no change in the message. My I-140 was approved long back (August 30, 2004), not sure what is going on.

My I-140 that was approved in 10/03 had an LUD change on June 3, 2006. I had sent in my reply to the RFE on I-485 in May. I am in Nebraska and my labor is original.

lud on the portfolio screen for I140 changed to 06-01-06. Then when I checked the status message for I140, the usual approved message but the date changed to 06-01-06. No clue as why?.........

I have two I 140 s approved, one in EB2 another one in EB1. I could substitute my PD - 09-20-2004 from my EB2 to my EB1 PD. Hence, my PD became current in April.

I have two I-140s too!!!!

This is interesting. I have two approved I-140s too -- one in EB-2 and the other in EB-3. The EB-3 was filed by mistake by the attorney and was subsequently approved. On the same labor I got the EB-2 done later. The LUD changed on the EB-3 one. It remained unchanged on EB-2 and 485.

Since the EB-3 one was concurrently filed with the I-485, I have requested substitution from my EB-3 to my EB-2. And my PD becase current on EB-2. I'll update my signature to show details.

Can you please tell me which one of your's changed LUD EB-1 or EB-2? If it changed on EB-2 then your case is similar to mine.

Mine changed on EB1. But my I485 applied with EB1 and not with EB2. Hence, it is similar to your case because you filed I485 with EB3.

Looks like they are consolidating the file. I had 140 which was filed June 03 and withdrawn Oct 04. I had another 140 that I substituted with PD of dec 2001. Second 140 was approved April 2005.

I had LUD on The withdrawn 140 on May 6 as well as on the AP documents which were approved in Oct 2003.

I chekced with USCIS last week who told me my 485 was under final review and that the name check was cleared on 4/29/06.

As all LUD's have happened after 4/29, I guess it is just a consolidation process before they decide on the 485.

My 140 used for 485 is EB-1a, so no labor, 140 AD is 12/04/04, no change in AD and the message, just the LUD. The other 140 is EB-2 NIW, no labor, same AD, same LUD change without message change.

Both my wife's and my 485's (based on the same 140)'s LUD's did not change.

I guess USCIS was just moving files around.
