I am happy to say that my online status mentions that the approval notice has been sent. TSC IO also confirmed the same. Phew! What a relief after all this wait. No emails received yet. Hopefully no more games from here on for my case. My wife's case filed only in July 07 and so will probably take some more time!

Congratulations! I am wondering if you have any LUD between the date name check cleared and today. Thanks.

Bystander6: No, there was no LUD for name check cleared. I just got a letter from Congressman on Oct 16 that my NC was cleared on Oct 11. I confirmed with TSC IO. My online status changed to "approval notice sent" on Oct 30, though I havent received any email.

Thanks for the info. Mine was cleared on Oct. 19 and I just confirmed with TSC IO also. My RD was 6/21/2006. EB2-ROW.
 
Good luck bystander. If your NC is cleared, you can expect some good news. When I called last week a good TSC IO officer mentioned that she will send a mail to the officer and supervisor to whom my case is assigned. She said they do it only if NC and everything else like FP is valid.

So, it seems like you can request that since your NC is also clear and your PD is valid. Not sure if that helped me, but you should give it a shot. You may get a bad IO when you call, in which case just call back again.

When I called USCIS today, the lady told me the same thing..could you please tell me how long did it take for you to get the approval after she he informed her supervisor?
