AILA has reported that effective next Monday, December 20, 2004, people will be directed to each Service Center for certain types of questions for the live assistance by each Service Center if the people call the NSCS 800 number between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. of the local time of each Service Center. Accordingly, the Service Centers will resume the live telephone assistance but more or less in an indirect fashion. This will improve to a great extent the contact representative function through the officers who have access to the individual files at each Service Center. Right on, USCIS!
