iANYU, My friend, you can't skip any process...I think you should calm down and forget your trips to italy or australia or wherever until you get your status adjusted...
 
being informed is critical. i am not going to skip my trips if i can maek them:) i never miss a chance, that is why I am here. and you did not answer the question mister moderator!:) please answer:)

Yes! I have seen some people approved without calling for medical but there is one catch.. they had their medical submitted with original application. So the officer over-looked the rule that medical should be 1 year current. But otherwise its a matter of their policy to ask for medical for every approval.
