Approval while abroad??

Hi ,
Does anyone know what's the procedure ( if any ) if your GC is approved while you are abroad. I figure that with Murphy's law an approval will come when I go abroad in May; my notice date is dec01.

Any insight will be much appreciated.

Nothing will happen, come back in whatever status you are in (H1/EAD/AP). Get the letter once you are back and go for stamping.
