I-485 details:
Priority date: Feb 2001
RD : Mar 18,2002
FP : Apr 2003
Approval: May 26,2002
Got two APs and EADs and was waiting for the third one.
Was thru NIW I-140 applied May 2001 and approved Feb 2002. Before was struck thru regular processing in TSC with priority date of Jan 14 1998.
For I-485 approval RFE was issued for Employment letter for myself. Approval came 4 days after reply to RFE was recd by TSC.
Recd Approval notice June 3rd. Wife also recd approval at the same time. Arrived at San Antonio office June 7th about 10am. Stood in first line where officer took our approval notices, passport and IDs. After a long wait of about 3 hours, my wife was called first. Officer asked for any APs and EADs and I-90. Got her fingerprints on the plastic card application and verified address. Next I was called by a different officer, but process was the same. We were told Plastic cards would come in a year !!!
But we recd it July 16th. So much for their estimates !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An happy ending after an arduous journey.
But the bottom line : TSC sucks big time. !!!!
