Approval Process For I-130

Hello I am new to this forum and have a couple questions....
First I would like to know how long it might take for this form to be approved my spouse is living in cuba and uscis recieved the petition on sept.8,07
Next I would like to know what they require from me in order to approve my application.....i.e. ( salary,position,etc ).....Please someone help me .....let me know something because I am going insane:eek:

The length of time can vary based on various factors. Location filed, how many people filed during your period, type of filing (k-1, k-3, AoS), etc... etc... so that will be hard to answer unless you give specifics.

Salary is either twice or two and a half times the poverty level. Someone can clarify that. If this is your first time going through this process - check out the book I have listed in my signature. It was really easy to read and understand and is cheap and totally worth it!! Post here if you have any more questions~!
 
Thanx ....but What Does K-1 Or K-3 Mean And How MUCH Do I Have To Make Or What Is The Poverty Level?
